Attendance management suite
Shift-aware attendance with anti-fraud guards, automatic flags and penalties, amendment requests with approvals, and a live attendance sheet for the whole company.
Attendance data is either trusted and wrong, or checked and late: registers get filled at month end, penalties are argued in the corridor, and payroll starts from numbers nobody fully believes.
Zaffre HRM computes attendance continuously against each person’s shift — flags, penalties and hours resolve themselves daily, disputes run as amendment requests with approvals, and payroll reads the result without re-typing.
Attendance in Zaffre HRM is computed, not collected. Every check-in and check-out evaluates against the employee’s own shift — timings, grace, break rules — and produces flags the same way for everyone: late, early-leave, missing checkout, break overruns, absence.
The attendance sheet gives HR a live month grid per team; amendments are approval-gated requests with a full trail; and gazetted holidays, leaves and remote-work days reconcile automatically so no one is marked absent for a day the company itself declared off.
Verification guards remove the classic frauds — the friend who marks you present, the check-in from home to an office shift, the shared login — using face matching, geo-fences, allowed IPs and device binding, each optional per company policy. Payroll then reads attendance that survived those guards.
Built-in safeguards against fake attendance
Anti-fraud check-ins
Face verification, geo-fencing, allowed-IP and device checks apply per company policy, on mobile, web and desktop check-ins alike.
Automatic flags
Late arrival, early leave, missing checkout, over-long breaks and absence are flagged automatically against the assigned shift — with your grace rules respected.
Penalty rules, not moods
Penalty rules translate repeated flags into defined deductions — the same behaviour costs the same amount for everyone.
Amendment workflow
Forgot to check out? The correction is a request with evidence and an approver, not a quiet edit to history.
Payroll without re-entry
Hours, lateness and penalties flow into payslips from the same records; a pre-payroll re-evaluation guarantees fresh flags before any run.
How it works
- 1
Assign shifts
Each employee carries a shift with timings, grace and break rules.
- 2
Check in with guards
Mobile, web, desktop or biometric device — verified per your policy.
- 3
Flags resolve daily
Late, absent and break flags compute automatically against the shift.
- 4
Fix by request
Corrections run as amendment requests with approvers and evidence.
- 5
Payroll reads it
Hours and penalties land in payslips with a pre-run re-evaluation.
Frequently asked questions
- Can attendance rules differ by team or shift?
- Yes — flags evaluate against each employee’s assigned shift and your company’s grace and break rules, so a night-shift worker is never judged by day-shift timings.
- How are late-coming penalties handled?
- Penalty rules convert defined flag patterns into consistent deductions, which itemise on the payslip. Rules are transparent, so employees can see exactly why an amount applied.
- What if someone forgets to check out?
- A missing-checkout flag raises automatically; the employee files an amendment request, the approver decides, and the sheet updates with the trail preserved.
- Does it work for field staff without an office network?
- Yes — mobile check-ins with face verification and geo-fencing cover sites and field work, while IP restrictions can stay enforced for office roles.
- Is attendance recalculated before payroll?
- Yes. Each pay run re-evaluates the period’s flags and penalties first, so payroll never uses stale attendance.
